I like the diamond non-skid surface, much better than the old decks.

So much for recessing any electronics in the dash too. Unless that plate can be move in the back. The big cutting board is nice but cuts out putting another trolling rod holder there.

Dick
-The fish-boxes are no longer made out of fiberglass, a plastic insert. I believe the hump is to "help" the boxes drain. I'll let you know when we wash it for the first time.
-The seats now hinge bow& aft. I'll get some close-up photo's.
Carnivore
now the electronics can be flush-mounted

Dick,

I'm not sure what you mean by the old decks. My 2000 2600 has a removable deck panel which like the rest of the deck has the same diamond non-skid surface as the 2605 pictured on this post, was there a different type of deck surface used between my boat and the 2605

Joe D-Thats one of the changes for the 2605, one piece floor w/diamond non skid.

Thanks Dave, not sure I like this change as I have had my floor panel off more than once. As a matter of fact I am currently awaiting new hardware so I can re-secure panel after changing up the fuel sending unit and removing anti-siphon valves.

I like that layout.
I like the cabin covering also but I shure wouldn't want to be the one drilling into it for the windshield wipers that are not on there.

By old decks I mean, the prior anti-skid decks that had a coarse sand type of finish. That wears smooth with age.

In another thread, I expressed my disappointment with the one piece deck. Asking if they had molded in "cut here" lines.

Gotcha, don't know why they ever changed from my boat's type of deck design, it was quite a selling point, then again so was the square back transom but they decided to change that also, oh well.

Yes, that is the horn in the bow.

Yes, that is where the carbon monoxide detector goes.(install & test after it's all rigged for a customer)
